How do you keep rabbits and mice off the veggie garden?

My son and I made our first veggie garden this year. I used old pavers to raise the bed about a foot high. In the raised bed, we have corn, tomatoes, sweet peas, pumpkin and carrots.

What is the best way to train a beagle to hunt rabbits?

However, he doesn’t seem to interested in searching for it. We don’t have the option to run with other trained rabbit hunting dogs. So we put a bigger box in the cage and Sunday night found 1 more and Now it is Monday and there are 6 in there.
